African Talk is a forum exploring differences between African and American culture, preparing people to handle culture shock and other challenges of the global village. I have for many years offered cultural orientation to Americans going to Africa on study programs, tourism, or business, and I have been offering such orientation to Africans living in the USA. Increasingly, I have been working with businesspeople and companies, helping them deal with challenges of doing business across cultures and dealing with culturally diverse partners, clients, suppliers, and employees.
I have published two books that I and others use and highly recommend: "Africans and Americans: Embracing Cultural Differences" and "Chickens in the Bus: More Thoughts on Cultural Differences."
