This goes beyond search and in-browser agentic interactions, this is a full partnership/integration!

If you guys have used Agentic Browsers (Perplexity Comet is out for EVERYONE btw) you might know how it feels like, not everything works but -when it does- it feels like the future.

Now OpenAI has announced Apps, these are out-of-the-box integrations with partner companies where you don't have to do anything to get them running, but they've released a way for you to try your own Apps and further down the line they'll be receiving App submissions as part of a larger effort to turn the chat interface into an everything-app.

This comes right after OpenAI launched SORA 2 in a Tik-tok like App with AI-generated content only.
