Welcome New Archivists!
Welcome to The Adoptee Academy. If you’ve just joined the community, feel free to introduce yourself here if you’re comfortable doing so. Sharing is always optional. You might include things like: • A name or nickname you’d like to go by• Where you are in your adoptee journey• What brought you to the Academy Here is mine. "Hi, I'm Kimberley. Searching for my bio parents took me 34 years. I am here at the academy because sometimes I struggle with the fact that I will never know the bulk of my adoption story and I can unpack that here all while building a record of my adoption journey." Some archivists enjoy participating in discussions, while others prefer to quietly work on their Phoenix Archive. Both approaches are completely welcome here. We’re glad you’re here.
