ā A thought for your weekā¦
Thereās a quiet difference between **creative force** and **creative flow**.
Force sounds like:
āI need to make something good.ā
Flow sounds like:
āOoo⦠what happens if I just follow this line?ā
This week weāre leaning into flow.
Not pushing. Not polishing. Just letting the art stretch its legs a little.
Hereās something playful to try:
š¶ Put on a song.
𤲠Roll your shoulders. Loosen your wrists.
āļø Draw with your non-dominant hand.
Donāt fix it. Donāt guide it too much. Just let it wander.
When youāre done, sit back with your coffee (or tea) and ask:
⨠*Where did the art want to go?*
Not where you planned.
Not where it āshouldā have gone.
Just where it naturally moved.
Sometimes flow looks messy.
Sometimes it looks surprising.
Sometimes it looks like a child left the room unsupervised.
All of it counts.
If you try it, Iād love to hear what it felt like ā in your hand, in your shoulders, in your mood.
Letās practice a little less force and a little more flow this week š
