Hi everyone, I’m really glad to be here and thought I’d start by opening up a conversation about menopause — something many of us experience, yet often don’t talk about openly. Menopause isn’t just about hot flushes. It can affect mood, sleep, confidence, memory, relationships, work, and our overall sense of self. For some, it’s a gentle transition; for others, it can feel overwhelming and isolating. Through my work in healthcare, I’ve seen how powerful it can be when women feel heard, informed, and supported. Understanding what’s happening in our bodies allows us to advocate for ourselves, explore options, and make choices that support our wellbeing — physically, emotionally, and hormonally. This space isn’t about “pushing through” or pretending everything is fine. It’s about sharing, learning, and supporting one another. 💬 I’d love to know: - What has been your biggest surprise about menopause so far?
