The Final Reset — Why I Built No More Resets
I've started over more times than I can count. Lost a ton of weight. Got disciplined. Felt unstoppable. Then fell back for a month or two — the food, the excuses — and watched myself slide backward. Never all the way back to the worst version, but far enough to hate myself all over again. Then I got injured. And I used it as permission to stop caring. But if I'm being honest — this story really started a few years ago when my wife was diagnosed with a rare cancer. And instead of breaking us it cracked us both open. I looked in the mirror for the first time and didn't like who I saw. I was 100 pounds heavier. I wasn't showing up as the husband or father my family deserved. I couldn't blame anyone but myself for that. And that was the hardest thing I've ever had to sit with. But that diagnosis became a blessing in disguise. It showed us how much we mean to each other. It forced us both to look at who we were and decide to become who we were supposed to be. She fought her battle. I started fighting mine. That's when I found Andy Frisella, 75 Hard, a book called The Secret, and a relationship with God and the universe I'd been neglecting. And something shifted. I lost the weight. I got disciplined. I became a better man, a better husband, a better father. But then I started resetting. Discipline then off track. Locked in then falling off. Over and over. Never back to the worst version but far enough to know I wasn't done yet. Far enough to know the gap between who I was and who I knew I could be was still there. And I got tired of being a broken record. I stopped asking why this kept happening to me and started seeing what it was happening for me. I'm not the man or father I want to be yet. But I'm a better man than I was. And I'm done resetting. I built this community for the person who knows exactly who they're capable of being — and is exhausted from the gap between that person and who they see in the mirror. You don't need someone who has it all figured out standing above you. You need someone in the fight alongside you who refuses to quit.

We don't do highlight reels here. Just real men refusing to quit on themselves and becoming who they're supposed to be.
