Not Every Activity Has to Be Big to Be Meaningful
I think sometimes we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to make every activity something big, exciting, and over-the-top.
But some of the best moments don’t come from that at all.
They come from:
✔️ Sitting outside and just talking
✔️ Listening to music someone loves
✔️ Laughing during a simple game
✔️ Letting a resident tell their stories
Those are the moments that actually stick.
Those are the ones that build trust, comfort, and connection.
Don’t get me wrong—parties and big events are great.
But the small, everyday interactions?
Those matter just as much—if not more.
So if today doesn’t feel “impressive” on paper…
that doesn’t mean it wasn’t meaningful.
