But nobody really talks about the other side of it.
The days when your calendar looks great on paper… but half your residents don’t show up.The times you plan something and it completely flops.The pressure of trying to keep residents engaged when their moods, health, and energy change every single day.
Or when you’re already overwhelmed with documentation, care plans, and everything else… and you’re still expected to make every activity feel exciting and meaningful.
This job is rewarding, but it’s not easy. Not even close.
