Activities Tell the Story—Marketing Shares It
One thing I’ve learned working in long-term care—the activity department and marketing should go hand in hand.
Activities aren’t just something we do to fill the day. They show quality of life, engagement, and what daily living actually looks like in the building.
When marketing and activities work together, it allows families and potential residents to see real moments—socialization, events, and the overall atmosphere of the community.
Photos from activities, special events, and even small day-to-day moments can make a big impact when shared the right way.
It also helps tell the story of the residents—not just the care they receive, but how they live.
At the end of the day, activities help create the experience—and marketing helps share it.
Do your activities and marketing departments work together where you are?
