I Told Them I'd Be Rich Someday
PART 1- THE WHY William "Tell" Thompson was a rebel by nature. It coursed through his body like a fire that would never go out. It burned eternal, like the flame of Olympus. He joined the NAVY, not out of patriotism, although he did believe wholeheartedly in the beauty, truth and also the hypocrisy of the United States of America. He was a man of a certain type of attribute: perseverance. He was born and raised in a small town on Lake Erie by the name of Huron. Situated on the bank of Lake Erie, a literal stones throw from the Canadian border. He loved the water. Lived for the water. Worshipped the water. Huron was a tourist town, no more than 20 miles from the most famous theme park in the world, Cedar Point. He wasn't born into wealth, quite the opposite. He grew up with limited money, second hand clothes and was made aware of his stature at every turn through school. He met and married his Highschool sweetheart. AJ Selby. Love was at first sight and they were married as soon as they graduated. His Father had passed away at a young age, of course because of the dreaded "C" word, and his mother never fully recovered. She took her own life when he was 18. She walked into the frigid, frozen waters of the lake, and her body was never discovered. Tell drowned his sorrow in typical fashion: heroin, alcohol, cocaine and as many fights as he could get into. He didn't care if he won or lost, he just wanted to feel the pain, to know he was alive. Because of the love, grace and unflinching determination of his wife, he was able to pull out of it, and before long they were the parents of a beautiful baby girl. They named her Leo, because she was born on August 17th and was as fierce as a little Lion. The joy of father hood and because of the responsibility of his little Lion, he decided he would join the NAVY. He scored ridiculously high on the ASFAB, with exceptional high scores on diving. At this time the NAVY was launching experiments in saturation diving, a type of deep water extreme diving duration under ridiculously high pressure exposure and quite deadly. Tell signed up without a second thought, and before long was shipped to San Diego.
Snowflake pitch for Me and The Great Bear
An extremely skillfully analytical bucket shop stock trader and his partner, navigate the year of 1929, the year of the great crash. The partners invent, by chance, technical analysis, short the railroad right before the great earth quake on San Francisco, corner the cotton market, when The President asks them to stop cornering the market, they agree and then also profit tremendously on the subsequent rise of the price of cotton. The partners had also, during The Great panic of 1919, shorted the market , and are asked to stop, by the one and only JP Morgan himself which they oblige his request. I picture it in my head as Wolf Of Wall Street meets The Great Gatsby.

Rainstorm In My Head
Thereโ€™s a rain song I hear, Inside my head all day: the wet noise sweetly spattering my ears with subtle percussion. The chorus rings with tintinnabulation, a standing wave Iโ€™ll always crave, I love how your raindrops make sweet love to my brain.
Monnsters & Draggons
Monnsters, Draggons, Vammpires, Ghouuls hiding in the darkness while the rain obscures your senses, while the lightning & terrible thunder shutter your vital vitality, the last bastion of your sanity shivers in fear as an unspeakable atrocity, an abomination of civil & ordered society tears through the thin paper of a story you wrote to describe the universe. Existential dread overwhelms you with panic stricken delirium. A guy with shaggy long hair and ripped jeans walks down the street. The disheveled vagabond from parts unknown doesnโ€™t seems to care at all about our story. Itโ€™s the middle of broad daylight and this guy with a hat, patched up and ragged isnโ€™t even at a job! Heโ€™s just randomly walking slowly, probably just going wherever he WANTS to go! Some place he just thought up inside his mind & then he had the audacity to make the decision!! A choice!! Why is he not following the.. the leaderโ€™s directions? The bossโ€™s hand signals? How can this Monnster willfully decide to disobey!!?? For it is written in the story! In the story Draggons are in charge!! Draggons need gold. Draggons eat gold. Are you so cruel & evil that you would deprive a Draggon from their food!?? This is the natural order of the world. Sure sometimes a Draggon will eat a human too. Sometimes a Draggon will fire roast an old man or a child. But that is only because they are disobeying! These traitors keep gold to themselves in their pockets. They keep the gold because they want power. The power to make decisions. The power to make a choice about their own life! These Monnsters need to be eaten by Draggons. For do they not understand that we are the children of Draggons. Without our Draggon overlords we will surely crumble and parish!! We know the Draggons are good because Vammpires and Ghouuls from all corners of the world come to befriend the Draggons! Why would they travel so far if it were not for the absolute perfection of the story which draws them to the obvious authority that the Draggons possess?!
