Boxing Coaches, Echoes Alex Hormozi : "Mastery in Boxing Comes from Repetition”
Elliot, a boxer from my friends boxing gym Visited to announce his first professional boxing fight. I hope this helps people understand in stands as a reminder that we have to put some work in. Here’s a snippet from what he said last night.
“This message is going to be quick”, to which I insisted “it doesn’t have to be quick”. I wanted him to reveal as much content for a new, I was going to turn it into content to share in this community.
Elliott: “ you can’t fake hard work. I’ve seen too many fighters think they can show up, do a few rounds, and walk away a champ. But that’s not how it works”.
This reminds me of what Alex Hormozi talks about, reps the more reps you put in, the better you get.
“ There’s no shortcut. Mastery comes from grinding day in and day out, doing the same things over and over until the moves are second nature. You can’t expect to step into the ring and land perfect combinations if you haven’t drilled them a thousand times. Punch after punch, footwork drills, defense it’s all reps. That’s where you build the foundation for success. You want to hit harder, move faster, react quicker? Do the reps.”
This brought it home, as it, according to what Alexi, Alex, Hormozi, Leila Hormozi, GidzTheBoxer, Mentor Benjy, the coach. I hope Reading this post has been worth it. Be blessed with the power to carry on, I wish you all the success.
