Thank you to for inspiring this post! 🙏🏻 She asked some great questions during our 1:1 and I thought I would recap here - for those of you already creating content AND those who have yet to! I personally believe having a basic understanding of SEO and keywords will help you get your products/services in front of the RIGHT clients, which is why we cover market research in Week 3 of the Faith-Filled Foundation Program 😉 Personal development > professional development.
“Just post the content” is great advice for those of you who aren’t used to being on camera. But here is where working on your state, so you can then apply the strategy, will keep you from feeling like throwing spaghetti 🍝 on the wall and hoping something sticks.
SEO: Search Engine Optimization
Have you ever wondered how search engines like Google, YouTube, or TikTok categorize content? The algorithms want to work WITH YOU, but can only do so if you’re serving them the correct “metadata.”
When you say “just Google it,” why do some business owners end up on page 1 of the search results while others are buried on subsequent pages? 🤔 You are a creator, so it’s time to start thinking like one (not just a consumer!)
Learning SEO is a high $$$ skill for a reason 💰 SO MANY business owners have no idea and will pay A LOT of money to individuals who master this digital marketing skill.
Once you know WHO your dream client is, you can identify what they would be searching for (keywords). Using these keywords and phrases in your websites, funnels, and content helps the algorithm categorize you… thus putting your products/services in front of the right audiences. We need to work SMARTER, and WITH the tools we’ve been given, not against them 😜
You should have a list of 3-5 keywords/phrases to start.
