🍽️ When Food Becomes Fuel (Not Just Flavor)
I hear people say all the time: “Ew, I don’t like that.” “I’d never eat that.” “That’s not for me.” And I get it. I used to think the same way. But now that I’m all about my health, hormones, and energy, I finally understand what my parents meant when they’d say: “Eat it, it’s good for you.” As a kid, I didn’t get it. Now, it clicks. It’s not about eating what tastes the best. It’s about eating what does the most for your body. 🧠 The Mindset Shift Our relationship with food has changed so much. Back then, our ancestors didn’t have added sugars, seed oils, or processed snacks. They ate to survive, to stay strong, to fuel their bodies. Today, food has become more about pleasure than purpose, and that’s where many people lose their power. And don’t get me wrong, I still love food. I love to enjoy it. But I’ve learned to see it differently: Not every meal has to be a “treat.” Some meals are just there to serve me, to give my body what it needs. That mindset alone will change how you feel about your plate. 🍖 Why I Eat Things I Don’t Always “Love” Take liver for example. Most people say “ew” before they even try it. But when you look deeper, liver is one of the most nutrient-dense foods you can eat. It’s loaded with: • Protein to support lean muscle growth • Iron to boost energy and oxygen levels • Vitamin A and B12 for skin, hormones, and focus • Minerals that balance your metabolism and immune system Compared to something like steak, which is still great, liver offers so much more nutritionally. It’s like nature’s multivitamin in real food form. 🌿 The Lesson You don’t have to love every bite. You just have to respect what that bite does for you. Some foods are pleasure. Some foods are purpose. Both belong, but they don’t deserve equal space in your diet. So next time you hear yourself say, “I don’t like that,” pause and think: Maybe it’s not my favorite, but it’s good for me… and that matters. ✨ Takeaway When you start choosing food based on how it serves your body, not just how it tastes, you step into a higher level of discipline, balance, and confidence.

💪 Let’s Talk Body Recomposition + Why Protein Matters
A lot of people jump into their fitness journey wanting to “tone up,” but what they’re really after is body recomposition, building lean muscle while losing fat. The key to doing this successfully? A high-protein diet, not just during your recomp phase, but even after to maintain the muscle you’ve built. One of the biggest mistakes people make is skipping meals, especially breakfast. Breakfast sets the tone for your day. It should be: 🍳 High in protein 🥑 Include healthy fats 🍞 Have complex carbs 🥦 Packed with fiber Personally, I like to keep my mornings super protein dense, around 80 g of protein to start the day. I train in the morning, so fueling properly makes it so much easier to hit my daily goal of 130–150 g of protein and stay consistent with my macros. Your first meal can literally make or break your progress when it comes to body recomp. Don’t skip it, fuel it. ✨

From Strength to Confidence: My Journey & Our Mission 💕
Hey everyone 💕 I’m Abby, the face behind Luxòra Atelier and this new space called Abby’s Glow-Up Circle. Fitness has been more than just a routine for me, it’s been therapy, discipline, healing, and empowerment all in one. I started working out years ago just to “get in shape,” but along the way, I built something much deeper, confidence, resilience, and self-respect. That same mindset eventually helped me create my brand, Luxòra Atelier, where strength meets style, because I realized that the way we show up for ourselves physically translates into how we show up in life, love, and business. This community is for the women rewriting their story, the ones who’ve been underestimated, the ones juggling a million things, and the ones who are ready to glow up in every sense of the word: mind, body, and soul. ✨ Inside this circle, we’ll talk workouts, mindset, femininity, confidence, and all the real behind-the-scenes of leveling up together. 💬 Drop a comment and share something you’ve overcome lately, big or small. I want this to be a space where we see each other. — Abby 🩷
