As we prepare for 21 days of prayer and fasting, there’s something important to remember:
Fasting without prayer is just a diet.
Biblical fasting is always aimed toward something. Breakthrough. Direction. Healing. Freedom. Deeper intimacy with God.
Before January 5 arrives, take time to write down what you’re believing God for during this fast. Be specific. Be honest. Be faith-filled.
Let your fasting fuel your prayers — not replace them.
Jesus didn’t say “if” you pray and fast, but “when” you do. And when fasting is paired with focused prayer, it becomes powerful.
So what do you do?
• Write down the things you’re praying and fasting for
• Set aside intentional prayer time alongside your fast
• Share (if you feel led) one thing you’re believing for in the comments
God honors hunger that’s aimed toward Him.
