Where you are in life affects who you are connected to. When we step outside of what God has called us to do, it doesn’t just affect us. It affects our relationships.
Being out of alignment leads to wrong environments, wrong connections, and often unnecessary struggles.
Scripture reminds us:
“Friendship with the world is enmity with God.” (James 4:4)
That doesn’t mean we isolate ourselves. It means we must be led by the Holy Spirit in who we allow close to us.
Many people struggle in relationships not because relationships are hard, but because they were formed outside of God’s direction.
Today, consider this:
Am I allowing God to lead my relationships… or just choosing what feels right?
If you’re reading along with us, this is from Chapter 5 of Relationship Goals in the classroom.
