The One Flip
Today, catch yourself ONE time saying something negative about yourself — out loud or in your head. Doesn't matter how small.
The second you notice it, don't let it slide by. Flip it — not into something that sounds nice, into something you could actually believe.
"I always mess this up" becomes "I've messed this up before, and I've also gotten it right before. This time I get to choose which one shows up."
That's the whole rep. One catch, one flip.
Here's why it matters: self-talk isn't neutral. It's either building the case for staying stuck or the case for moving. And reframing isn't lying to yourself — it's telling a more honest, more useful version of the truth. You've had wins too. The negative version just talks louder because you've let it run unchallenged.
Thoughts and language matter more than you know. You are your only limit — and today, you're also the guy who catches it.
Drop your catch and your flip below. What did you say, and what did you flip it into?
