What if heaven and hell aren’t just places, but experiences? 🌱
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about life, heaven, and hell. 😬🙈
What if we experience both while we’re here? What if parts of our lives can feel like hell, filled with pain, loss, loneliness, or struggle, while other moments feel like heaven?
Losing my Dad last September has made me reflect on this more than ever. It has made me look back at my own life and realise that There were times that felt incredibly hard. But it has also made me notice the moments that feel like heaven. ❤️
For me, heaven isn’t grand or complicated.
It’s my little garden on a sunny morning. 🌺
It’s laughter with the people I love.
It’s sitting quietly with a cup of tea while the birds sing.
It’s creating something with my hands.
It’s feeling safe, content, and grateful for the moment I’m in.
It makes me wonder: what do we truly desire from life? And what small changes could we make to create a little more heaven in our everyday days? 🤔
Perhaps it’s making room for more experiences.
Perhaps it’s spending less time rushing and more time with the people who matter. 💜
Perhaps it’s noticing that the things we often chase are not the things that bring us the deepest joy.
I don’t have any answers. Just a growing feeling that life is precious, time is fleeting, and maybe our task is to build as many little pockets of heaven as we can while we’re here. 🫶🏻🌱
What does your slice of heaven look like?
