Clue2 is done
I'm completely beginner at colorwork knitting and struggle sometimes with tension and how to hold yarn, especially when need to catch floats, but i'm proud of my progress so far, i'm learning a lot and feel safe in this community as everyone is so kind and helpful. I'm also not super happy about my color choices (B and C are too similar in contrast) but i'm curious how the final work will be like and also learning through this process too.

Csodaszépek! Congratulations Judit!
Got too many colour combination ideas to count?
If you’ve been spending time on here lately, you’ve probably seen some of the stunning colour combos for the Rujuu Sweater. If you’re feeling inspired and want to play with your favourite pairings without the mystery, I have just released a new pattern! Meet the Elza Sweater. It’s my latest top-down raglan, inspired by another traditional Latvian mitten motif. The pattern is super intuitive with mostly short floats, making it a very meditative knit. You can get the pattern now on Ravelry and Etsy. Use the code ELZA20 to get 20% off through February 8th. (Heads up, newsletter subscribers: check your inbox for an even better exclusive code!) If you run into any issues with the code, please reach out before you finish checking out, as I can't apply discounts once the transaction is complete. Happy knitting!

Do you think I could try to knit this pattern with fingering weight yarn too? (400m/100g)

@Zanete Hussain thank you! Very useful information!
clue 2 finally done
So after knitting most of clue 2 during the weekend I decided to rip it out. I tried to use up all the half skeins in my stash, and make the center of the motif in a different yarn (from the same colour category), but I hated the final look. I have 3 skeins of beautiful Malabrigo yarn in dark green, and somehow I still wanted to *save* them for...... I don't even know what! From time to time I have to remind myself to use the good yarn, to paint in the nice sketchbook, to wear the expensive perfume on an ordinary day ❤️ So I knitted it again, and this time I like it. Though I had to switch yarn in colour category C to a lighter shade, which is a shame because I really like the muted look... Now I'm thinking I'll go to a yarn store tomorrow and buy more, enough for this sweater.

Your work is so neat and the colors are beautiful! Thanks for the reminder of using and not just keeping the nice yarn too, sounded like something I could write myself
Where are you from
Sorry Zanete if this message isn't allowed .... But i'm so curious.... Where do you all come from. How spread is your reach of knitters. I think we come from all over the world. We have to do something to kill the time untill the first releas on friday! I have a lot of pleasure here in this group. Seeing all the combinations, reading tips and tricks... Every part in the world has his own knitting method. I will start. I'm from Belgium Europe. A small country with a king and queen! I live near by Bruges. In the middle ages it was a very important city, a center of trade. Nature did dry up the waterways and it fell asleep. Still Looks like the middle ages. A lot of tourism. So English isn't my language. But I'm doïng the best I can and don't use google Translate. Let my mind donthe work
