Psychic Stone Newsletter: Honoring Mother's Day
The modern-day observance of Mother’s Day began over 100 years ago, to honor those women “who have done more for us than anyone in the world.” Now celebrated in some form around the globe, Mother’s Day is a day to celebrate those women who have had a positive influence on our lives. Celebrated on the second Sunday in May in the United States, the occasion is marked by giving moms and mother figures gifts such as candy, flowers, and of course, jewelry. Jewelry has always been a popular choice for Mother’s Day, as it can be a constant and outward visual reminder of the love between a mother and her children. Following are meaningful Gemstones to Honor Your Mom. and Grandmothers, G-Grandmothers, Aunts, Sisters, Cousins, Gal Pals. ** Moonstone ** A longtime favorite, this bluish white gem is a perfect selection for Mother’s Day. Moonstone gives off feminine goddess energy and is said to have a connection to the moon. This stone may help to reduce stress and balance emotion, and throughout history has been connected to having a motherly and nurturing spirit. Moonstone is related to the Crown Chakra and is a stone of protection for mothers and children. ** Chrysoprase ** Often called the Stone of Venus, this mineral was used throughout history because of its vivid and varied colors - shades of green which gives off a soothing and relaxing feminine energy. It is associated with life balance and is said to help relax and recharge mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally, something all moms definitely need. Chrysoprase will help promote a life of kindness and love, as well as increasing tolerance of others, and boosting self-esteem. Chrysoprase connects to the Heart Chakra. ** Pink Tourmaline ** This gem comes in many different colors of pink, from a very subtle, light shade of pink to a hot, deep color. The gem symbolizes all kinds of happiness, from love to passion, and self-confidence to sensuality. Looking at pink tourmaline in times of stress can help calm heavy emotions and anxiety.

@Amy Wilhelm oh, I am happy you were able to help fulfill their purpose, if that makes sense. Flowers bloom because that's what they do, but you were able to bring appreciation to that ❤️
Happy Mother's Day 💐
May all the moms here, and those who nurture others, find many moments of being appreciated today. The love and caring you give to others is a precious gift and may you always be reminded of that 🌹❤️🌹
Happy Mother's Day 💐

@Amy Wilhelm wow, thanks for sharing this! That's lovely - I hope they come around again one day. Picky indeed LOL. My only experience with crows was a few years ago. There was a fledgling blue jay in our back yard who sadly was very sick and died the same day, even though we tried to save him. (He is buried in our yard). While we were attempting to nurse him, a small flock of crows appeared in a neighbour's tree and they set up quite a racket. They were chattering and caw-ing for hours. It was only later in the day that I realized they must have sensed the poor baby bird's demise. I wish I knew what they'd been saying...
