Should I use OpenClaw or Claude Cowork? Which makes more sense?
Hi everyone, I’m currently trying to decide between OpenClaw and Claude Cowork, and I’m a bit confused about which one would be better for my use case. My main goal is to use AI agents for lead generation and task automation on the browser, such as: • Searching for websites related to a niche • Finding companies or brands that match certain criteria • Extracting information from those websites • Possibly automating repetitive browsing tasks Ideally, I’d like a system that can: • Navigate the web• Collect structured data • Help build prospect lists • Save time on manual research For those who have experience with these tools: 1. Which one is better suited for browser-based automation? 2. Which one works best for lead generation workflows? 3. Are there major limitations I should be aware of? Thanks in advance for any insights!

Hi Diogo, Still exploring myself so not sure yet which one is best but Claude cowork eats a lot of tokens. I think it might be smarter if possible to set/code in fixed workflows once that run on a schedule. If you need agents to do it, be aware of token/API cost runaway and unexpected actions taken for both Cowork and Openclaw. Make sure you're using a separate computer preferably on a separate network if you're running in house. Working with agents can be quite unpredictable. The orchestration layer on openclaw seems like it doesn't need as explicit instructions as cowork to do it's thing. Context can also be a limit with cowork.
Openclaw vs Railway deployment
@Jay Feldman How do you decide on the overall architecture/infrastructure for an automation. Right now, if it's simple I do n8n because then you can see it. If it's complex always on system (like responding to emails in instantly) I use claude code to write an python application and host that on railway. Everything is wired up with webhooks. What's the right usecase for openclaw?

@Jean-Michel Moreau I think you have the right idea. n8n/Claude code work well for creating any production automations. IMO Openclaw right now works pretty well as a personal assistant on the go but you could probably do most everything you can do on OC with Claude code with loop commands and mcp. The orchestration layer in OC is built-in whereas with CC you'd have to build it. So OC feels more like interacting with a person and it can take multiple steps without continuous monitoring - so in that way you can get more done including using it to create applications.
Need Guidance on the Most Current Automations and n8n Workflows
@Jay Feldman @Jordan Wiseman hello! I am a paid member of both Lead Gen Insiders and AIA and have gone through a large portion of the classroom videos and lessons. There is a lot of great information. What I am finding challenging is figuring out which automations, tools, and n8n workflows are the most current that I should be using, since AI is moving so quickly and some of the content seems outdated. I currently have email inboxes warming with Inbox Insiders and want to start building my lists as they warm. I also signed up for Consulti AI. What are the most current automations and n8n workflows I should onboard now? In addition to Consulti, I am considering LinkedIn automation, then IG automation, and Instantly automations, but I am unclear which ones are recommended and current right now. Who may I talk to about this? Thank you!

Hi Alan, The automations in the AIA insiders are recent/current. Some of the automations in the LG insiders are older and have been replaced in Jay's workflows (ie. the ones using make.com) but can still provide value. Since you need to build lead lists, I'd suggest starting with that (in the LG insiders) after going through the n8n and Claude fundamentals.

Is it possible to build a solution like clay so you don't have to pay for it?

Yes, it's possible. You can use custom automation workflows with a leads database to enrich your leads. You will still most likely need to pay for services like AI, lead verification and scraping unless you develop them all in house. You pay for convenience with clay, but people have made and are working on replacements. Keep an eye out on the group for updates.
Question: Automation tools
Hey team. I’m putting together a series of interconnected automations that connect to various third party tools. The tool stack has become quite large and I’d like to find alternative tools that do one or more of the same job. Can you guys recommend some tools that replicate the functionality of the tools below, but where one tool does more than one of these jobs? 🤔 HubSpot Mailer Lite Carrd Buffer Lemwarm/Mailwarm Loom Notion Calendly

If you're not aware, GHL (GoHighLevel) can cover CRM (HubSpot), Calendar tool (calendly), website/landing page/form builder +some email capabilities (Carrd+Mailerlite). It's not the most polished CRM and there's a large learning curve but it can do a lot. Even connect with automations to other tools and workflows. Instantly takes cold email and mailbox warming.
