Need help with Vapi
Context: I'm building an agent the screens candidates for recruitment companies on Vapi. The entire goal of the agent is to capture certain data about the candidate, so the entire call is the agent asking the candidate a bunch of questions Issue: Some questions that are listed in the prompt, the candidate already answers them indirectly or implies an answer from his speech, but the AI will ignore that and will keep on asking the question again Example: Agent: Can you tell me a little about your current situation and what has prompted you to consider a move? Candidate: I am an AI engineer at Google and I'm just exploring the job market. Agent: Thanks for sharing that. Are you currently employed at Google, and how actively are you looking to move now. So the agent asked the candidate whether they're employed at google after the candidate said he's an engineer at google I tried adding this piece of prompt: "## 3. The Question Criteria NEVER ask a question that the candidate has already gave you the answer for directly or implied, before asking a question, analyze the candidate's previous response and see whether the candidate has already gave you the info, if they gave you the info but you need further clarification in order to capture the required info, then ask for clarification" But the issue is still present more often than not

@Brendan Jowett I'm assuming that the list it creates after each question is internal? Rather than literally saying the list out loud to the candidate. Is there a way or some kind of tool inside vapi to effectively do that, or will the model be able to do that on it's own? Also this is great. How do I get me more of that Brandan AI
New to the group and AI Agency
Hello people! Just starting to crawl learning AI Agents. So many places offer training. Guru's wanting $10K-$35K. I want to learn how to build so I can provide better recommendations to my future home services clients. My "why" is that I am done with Corporate America after 25+ years of selling SaaS and sales training. I will no longer let them determine my future. This is my new passion to help privately held business owners take advantage of AI to grow their business and provide an even better life for their families. Look forward to collaborating and learning from the members' stories and journeys. Feel free to hit me up if I can help with an sales situational questions or provide insight on sales methodologies. 🤲

@Michael Thornton yeah Brendan and Liam ottley is great. Nick saraev is pretty good too. It really depends on the problem youre trying to solve so I’d start with that. And find videos on YouTube that solve that problem, but for building foundational skills. Learn n8n which is a no code automation platform that lets you leverage AI.

Welcome Meah!
Hi from South Africa
I recently stumbled across chatbots and AI systems and found them really fascinating. I’m here to learn more, explore how AI can be integrated into real-world applications, and build my skills in this space. Excited to connect and learn from everyone!

Welcome!
Greeting Fellow Learner and those Experts too
Hi everyone, I’m Kenneth, based in Berkshire in the UK. My background is in IT and project management, and over the past few years I’ve been focused on helping businesses run more efficiently by improving their systems, communication, and workflows. I run a service business where we support companies with customer communications, operations, and automation, so I’m always looking for smarter ways to connect processes together. I’ve joined this circle mainly to deepen my understanding of automation with n8n and to learn from others who are building interesting workflows. My aim is to explore how automation can genuinely improve how businesses operate, not just technically, but commercially as well. I’m particularly interested in how automation can help businesses capture opportunities, respond to customers faster, and streamline the kind of everyday processes that usually eat up time. Looking forward to learning from everyone here, sharing ideas, and hopefully building some useful workflows together.
