🌍Hey everyone — I’m Zenya! 🌎 Where are you from + where are you right now? I’m originally from Mammoth Lakes — a small mountain ski town tucked away in California. I grew up surrounded by snow, fresh air, and adventure, which taught me to love the outdoors from day one. Now I’m based in San Diego, soaking up the sun, swapping the mountains for the ocean (but still chasing that same freedom). ✈️ What inspired your love for travel or the ocean? The ocean has always been my calm and my courage. Scuba diving completely changed my life — it’s where I learned to slow down, trust myself, and see the world differently. Travel gave me that same feeling of expansion — that mix of fear, excitement, and awe that makes you feel so alive. 💫 What’s one dream destination or bucket list dive spot? Raja Ampat, Indonesia is at the top of my list — those crystal waters, coral walls, and manta rays are calling my name. 🤿🌺 🧳 Are you more of a “plan every detail” traveler or “go-with-the-flow” kind of soul? A little of both. I like to plan the essentials — flights, stays, dive spots — but once I’m there, I let the magic happen. Some of my best memories have come from the unplanned moments. 💬 What’s something you’re hoping to find or share in this community?I want this to be a space where solo travelers feel supported, seen, and inspired — where we can share real stories (not just the polished ones) and empower each other to explore boldly.
