I’ve got a 2-hour break today and honestly, I don’t know if I should nap, clean, scroll, or just stare at the wall like a champion. 😂 What would you do with an unexpected pocket of time?

I would go get my nails done, take a walk, or get something to eat. The heaviness of sleep always falls on me about 15 min before my break is over. You could also get you some ice cream and people watch 🤣🤣🤣

I just returned from a much needed vacation with my husband and kids. And I chose not to buy the Wi-Fi package on the cruise. That was the best decision I made. It allowed me to be fully present and completely disconnect from everyday life. And REST. I didn't have to worry about anything or feel like it's my responsibility to take care of things. Now we're back. Let's see if I can keep up the momentum.

I learned that my family really enjoys the simple things in life; each other's presence. Not one child complained about not having WiFi for their iPads. It felt amazing not receiving phone calls, text messages, emails, etc. Noone asked permission for rest, we each rested on our own time when we wanted to. And we all enjoyed the quality time spent together as a family, couple, and alone.
