Question on infrastructure
Hello guys, I want to run my first campaign and I want to know: How many google inboxes per domain are considered safe ?

Hey Nathan, I always use three inboxes per domain, and the reason why is technically you can use up to four or five inboxes per domain, but we want to keep our sending reputation safe. That has to do with domain reputation, which has a lot to do with total emails sent per day per domain. We want to look at that number and keep it as conservative as possible, because over an extended period of time, that's what impacts deliverability the most Again, I always do three inboxes per domain and try to keep my total sending volume per domain, including warmup and outbound emails, under 140 emails per day per domain Hope that helps!

@Nathan Tameu You should be able to start with 3 per domain, no problem.
Which Inbox placement tester to use?
Mail-tester Mailtester Emailguard Mailreach Also, if you have 100 inboxes and 50 domains. How do you guys test them?

If you use Instantly for sending emails, you can use their built-in Inbox placement test feature
🚨 Cold email lesson of the week
A lot of people try to think their way to the answer when a campaign is not working - Is it the copy? - Is it the leads? - Is it the offer? - Is it deliverability? - Is it the CTA? The truth is, most of the time, you do not actually know yet Cold email gives you answers through testing, not overthinking I have seen campaigns that looked great on paper do nothing And I have seen simple angles I almost would not have bet on start generating opportunities That is why I think one of the most important skills in cold email is being willing to test aggressively Different lead segments - Different angles - Different offers - Different CTAs - Different email lengths Different levels of personalization You can sit there analyzing forever, and you still might be wrong The market tells you what works Not your assumptions So, if something is not landing, I would not get too emotionally attached to one explanation I would test harder, faster, and with more volume until something sticks Then, once it sticks, scale the hell out of it That has honestly been one of the biggest lessons for me Cold email is less about guessing right from the start and more about taking enough action to find the thing that works
