We just made an important improvement to the 6DegreesApp login/profile flow. When Founding Members open the beta, the goal is for each person to create their own login and land inside their own profile, not a generic demo profile. A few notes before you test: ✅ If this is your first time opening the beta, tap Create account ✅ Use your real full name so the app can connect you to the correct profile ✅ If your Founding Member profile is already built, the app will work toward connecting your login to that profile ✅ You’ll be able to explore, test, add/edit pieces of your profile, and help us find what needs polishing next This is exactly why we’re beta testing together. Every little issue we catch now helps us make 6DegreesApp stronger before a bigger public release. If you’re testing this round, comment TESTING below so I know you’re jumping in! The whole idea is simple: recommendations mean more when they come from people you are actually connected to, not random reviews from strangers online. Founding Members are helping shape this from the beginning, and they lock in the early benefits, including the 40% recommendation commission rate and included business profile. When Codex and ChatGPT began merging parts of their platforms, the workspace where I’d been building 6DegreesApp suddenly looked like it had disappeared. Did I remain calm and confidently trust that everything was fine? Absolutely not. 😂 There was a brief spiral, some frantic searching, and a very real “Did I just lose the entire app?” moment. The good news: the app was still there. We found the original build, reconnected everything, and uncovered a few beta issues along the way—including a Supabase login connection that needed fixing. Because of that, changes have been made since the original beta links went out. If you’re a Founding Member, please use the newest testing links located in the Founding Members module rather than the original links. This is exactly what beta testing is for: finding the messy parts, fixing them, and making the experience stronger together. I’m building something ambitious, learning in public, and occasionally panicking in public too. I’m human!
