Our church here is going through a season of difficulty with health. In the past month, 6-7 people have been sent to the hospital with various problems. Lori: He was run over by a truck at work Bernadette: struck by car Sr Pastors daughter: stomach issues Pastor wife: sickness Pastor wife sister: brain tumor and a few others in our congregation. It’s saddening, Lori is a brother who has an incredible testimony who is now dealing with considerable pain and a long recovery. At the moment, doctors aren’t sure if he will recover his sight, be able to walk or work. I’m using this fasting period to focus more intently on the Lord, to see what it is He is doing in the lives of those in our congregation, and those unsaved in our city.
