Welcome to Fertility Unfiltered β€” My Story
Welcome to this space. πŸ’œ Before anything else, I want you to know this community was built to be a safe place. No judgment. No pressure. No toxic positivity. Just real women, real journeys, real talk. To make you feel comfortable sharing yours, I want to start by sharing mine. I was that girl who got her period at 13 and never once had a problem with it. Always on time. Never painful. My mother had six children. Her two sisters had six each. Infertility was never even a word in my vocabulary. So when I got married and the comments started β€” "are you pregnant?", "your stomach is looking big" β€” I brushed it off. I'm an Indian woman. We carry our bellies. I'd tried everything before my wedding to lose it and nothing worked, so I accepted it and moved on. Then one day I fell at a public gathering. People rushed over assuming I was pregnant. Something in me said β€” there is something wrong. I got an ultrasound. What they found changed everything. I had a large cyst. Eleven litres of fluid. Almost the size and weight of a baby. It had been sitting there, quietly making my ovaries smaller, quietly lowering my AMH β€” and I had no idea. The cyst was removed. But that surgery was the beginning of my fertility journey, not the end. I wasn't ready for a baby straight away β€” I had just gotten married a few months before. But from the end of 2025 I have been doing the work. Seed cycling. Nutrition. Vitamins. Acupuncture. Getting my body ready. My egg retrieval is booked for mid-May. I am nervous. I am hopeful. I am doing this. And now I want to hear from you. Where are you in your journey? What has worked for you? What do you wish someone had told you earlier? Introduce yourself below. No detail is too small. No feeling is too big. You found this place for a reason. πŸ’œ

In the middle of my own IVF journey. Built the community I needed but couldn't find. No woman should do this alone. πŸ’œ
