Your testimonials are COSTING you clients (If you’re making this 1 mistake)
Most coaches post testimonials like this… ❌“Meet Sarah. She lost 21 lbs in 90 days. Here’s how {put a before/after pic here}” Sure, it gives the proof. But it’s not a conversion tool. Because people don’t care about Sarah. They don’t care about you. (Sad, but it’s true.) They only care about their OWN pain. So, if you want your testimonial to actually sell, 👉Make it about them. Not just about you. Reframe it like this: ✅“If you’re stuck in the cycle of losing weight and gaining it back. You’re exactly where Sarah was 6 months ago. But 1 change in diet made her lose 21 lbs in 90 days, and she hasn’t gained it back since. Here’s what was changed:” See how it makes the case study revolve around the viewer? It gives them the feeling of, “Ok, that’s me, let’s see what Sarah did…” Now, they’ll pay attention to your testimonial. And when they pay attention? Your message gets cemented in their mind. So, the next time their pain hits them, They’ll recall how you helped Sarah fix this same problem. They’ll remember YOU as the solution. That’s how you make a testimonial sell. 🤜So, don’t waste your valuable testimonials by making it all about you and your client. Make them connect with your viewer and see the conversions. Because this change is often the difference between… “Huh, nice transformation… Scroll” and “Wait, let’s see what they did.”
