What's your offer?
In a couple of words, tell me in the comments what your offer is, and I'll give you feedback on it.

just finished a call where we turned my offer into an elevator pitch. what do you think of this "I help corporate and government professionals move from invisible to indispensable so they can accelerate their career."

@Lara Bruyelles it was with Danielle Drew in her group Vocal Power. where she helps with public speaking and creating a pitch or presentation I'll continue to refine and specify as i do more one on ones and get feedback but it is a good place to start from and has given me good direction
I wish I knew this before starting my Skool community
"Aligned Creators" was born just under 2 months ago, and my plan was the following: - Post content in the community - Add courses in the classroom - Schedule and host weekly calls - Let the community build itself, and then put a price tag on it/subscription I joined Skool at first because Alex Hormozi invested in the company. I was lucky enough to network with a lot of people on Skool, from the very start. Some were successful. Some were less successful. I identified two categories of Skoolers: - The ones who are here to build a hobby or a side hustle and that hope to "someday" monetize - Those who are serious about building a business on this platform that might replace their main job at some point I was definitely in the second category. It didn't take me long to understand that if I focused on helping people one-on-one first - instead of trying to monetize the community - I would monetize much quicker, which would allow me to have more time and resources to build the community I also understood that the community could grow passively as I do the 1:1 work In fact, this is what I've been doing. My classroom is empty. I only post once a week on here, and I don't even host calls, but people are joining, and people start engaging. If you are curious to hear about the fastest way to monetize on this platform and to finally build the online business you are meant to build, go ahead and watch the 7-minute video below, and let me know in the comments what stood out to you. Cheering you up on this journey, and I'm excited to see where Skool takes us all ❀️

great video reminding us to focus on helping people. its true that the most progress i have mad in understanding how i can help others is simply by doing more one on one work with people i think i can help

@Lara Bruyelles so far i am identifying the common pain points and refining the questions i use for discovery. I'm trying to keep an open mind and learn from the interactions
Your first paying client
I just posted a YouTube video about how to get your first paying client. This was a huge milestone for me! I remember freaking out when I first had to deliver value after someone had just paid me. It was a massive shock to my nervous system! Your first client will probably transform you more than going from 1 to 20 clients. And I don't know about you, but I find it much easier to have this goal. It seems manageable. Just one. It can change everything, I promise! Some of the things it did for me was: changing my perception of work, my vision of money. I realised that I could get paid for things I already had/was. That I didn't have to work hard or do things I hate in order to get paid. And that if I could make one dollar online, why not a hundred, why not a thousand, why not ten thousand? Dear Aligned Creators, wouldn't that be a great goal to get your first paying client? And if you already had it, did you find it as life-changing as I did?

@Lara Bruyelles I have been Honing in my offer with these in mind. what i currently have is " I help young men who are overlooked and underappreciated at work. transform into someone people notice and promote in a 4 week intensive with a year of continued assistance where we find the weird that works for you or you money back!" what do you think?

@Lara Bruyelles yeah this is some good feedback thanks. I will take this into consideration and use it to continue to refine and improve the offer. I will give those questions some though as to how I can really speak to my target.
What I learned from 20+ networking calls
Are any of you networking and jumping on calls? If not, I strongly recommend that you do so! I recently discovered the power of having conversations with people without having a specific goal in mind. Over the past 2 weeks, I've been on over 20 calls and learned so much about myself, about how to hold conversations better, and about how I could potentially help people. I also felt way more confident in my ability to hold space for others, and in introducing what I do, who I am, and my story. Networking calls or an accelerator to whatever you want to build next. Teaches you very important skills if you're looking to build an online aligned business. People skills. Have you been on networking calls? Do you incorporate this as your weekly tasks? Let me know below. If you haven't, also let me know :)

this is the theme of my week it to work on networking calls. I am very excited for our call tomorrow! I'm trying to just do more networking calls in general and seeing what happens. I've done enough of the background work and now I just need to start connecting with people and see how I can help them.
