Need to slow down and look at every part of the directions/problem

I did this in a study period at school and the two I did wrong was 1: lost focus and 2: didn't know a vocab word meaning

I'm tending to rush and not look at the correlation between sentence A and B in the transition and I am assuming answers when I should slow down and truly read them.

Throughout the set, I struggled the most on Verb and Punctuation questions, most of which had to do with certain subjects being hard to distinguish as either singular or plural or not recognizing whether each clause is independent or dependent. I just need to slow down, and really think and not rush

Just wanted to share this: on the last SAT I took last April I got an 1100, and the PSAT in October I got an 1100, but today I took a practice SAT and I got a 1300!
