Hi I’m Yvonne and have been playing for about 8 months now. I have had my D Amara 9 for longer but due to a car accident was unable to play for around 6 months. Coming back to it in January 2026 was like starting over. I’m from Co. Cork in Ireland and don’t have anyone around me who plays the Handpan so my community has all been online and so far I only play at home and share online. I love that the Handpan picks me up wherever I am, bouncy or funky if I need it, mellow and meditative when I need it. I prefer meditative flowing play to grooves and am happiest when I allow my Handpan to play through me.
