The Role of Religion as Humanity’s Original Coping Mechanism: From Primitive Superstition to Organized Belief Systems
How early humans turned raw fear and uncertainty into rituals, then into full-blown religions that delivered stress relief, group cohesion, and moral order — long before science or conspiracy theories took over. A look at why religion wasn’t “just superstition” … it was the smartest survival hack our ancestors ever invented — and why the misuse of religion and the concept of God by evil actors throughout history does not negate God’s existence any more than counterfeit money disproves real currency.

Regarding the document: I skimmed through the PDF 3 times. I accepted all of your blind watchmaker arguments, and reached your take on conspiracies. I found almost all of the examples (those you present as obvious instances of each phenomena) somewhat debatable, at the least. Regarding the underlying argument: There is only one G-d. Religion is the way we understand Him and connect with Him. All of the benefits you present can be absolutely true and still prove nothing. For me it's just obvious that it just means He made us biologically ready for a connection with Him.

@Jilly Galili absolutely, and that's just one example

@Marius Andresen it is both. Muslims say that Jews will be defeated because Muslims love death and Jews love life. While the observation itself is correct, it's not true that we value it more than anything else. They're right that life is holy for us, but also giving one's life for G-d's holiness. They seem to persistently miss that part about us. And it's key.

@Blake Winter as i just said. Just like anywhere else. The entire global media seems to have a woke agenda.

@Oscar Paez I sincerely and wholeheartedly apologize for my ignorant and careless usage of the term "woke".
Scares the hell out of me about some Jews from Discord.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HY1IyRGiHNs This link copied from Armin's Discord. 'Man on the Street' interview in Israel. Would you rather enter a mosque or a church? --- Most fear Christianity. I'm stunned. I hope this is NOT representative of Jews inside of Israel. I've encountered many Jews in USA and am still surprised at some of their prejudice against Christians and false beliefs about what Christianity is about in regard to Jewish people. I am not religious but was raised in a Christian household. I know the perspectives of the general community and the level of prejudice and dysfunction in this relationship between Christians and Jews is so unwarranted. There's so much ignorance involved. Some Jews are simply ignorant about what Christians really believe in regard to them. Christian evangelicals are commonly taught over their lifetimes to revere Jews. And they're taught to defend Israel as a commandment.

@Soap Box You keep missing the point entirely. By now it's either that: - You're too thick. Obviously not it. - You think we're trying to hide some kind of grudge against Christianity using Jewish law as an excuse. Might be it. You're an Atheist, which makes you incapable of understanding the religious mindset and what being observant is about. You think we're prejudice because you yourself are prejudice about religion and too blind to see it. This option is insulting to us both, but makes the most sense. In this case do "check your premises". - You're doing this just to troll us. Probably not it. - You keep arguing a moot point trying to save face although you know better by now. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt on this one.

@Soap Box do I affirm the validity of the claim that some Jews hold gross misunderstandings of what Christianity is? Absolutely. We're Jews. Not Christians. Do I affirm that some jews still carry hostility towards Christianity? Sure. It's possible. E.g. Some of our grandparents were victims of christian pogroms in Ukraine. We can't unhear their stories. Pretty much everyone moved on though. Jewish "hostility" towards Christianity is a non-issue. It's so rare it practically doesn't exist. Does any of this have anything to do with the original topic? You thought that we'll enter a mosque and not a church because we're prejudice against Christianity. This was a mistake on your behalf. A mistake. You were wrong. The "misunderstandings" turned out to be all you, misunderstanding the video you posted. Have the decency to let this go.
Capitalism 101 series
Video one of the series, 5 minutes total length. Important quote from 2015 Denmark PM “many in the US associate the Nordic model with socialism… Denmark is far from a socialist planned economy” https://www.prageru.com/videos/capitalism-vs-socialism Video 2 “A moral case for capitalism” : https://www.prageru.com/videos/a-moral-case-for-capitalism

If you ever find yourself looking for an easy going, delightful read, that elegantly presents a thorough criticism of current economic models, I suggest "The failure of the new economics" by Henry Hazlitt.
