@Jeff Krehmer The whole post is so cool, and all the ideas sound like something to work towards. Mind my ignorance, but with regards to Desalination, if I am not wrong, the biggest region involved is the Middle East heard a lot about when I visited Saudi. Have you heard anything from that market? like what sort of progress they have made in Desalination, because most of that region runs on it. And the Production of cheap food is also important. as advance our society seems there are a lot of places with extreme food insecurity. now I am not saying that we should implement solution directly in those places but we can produce cheap and good quality food in first world and then import it to other places ?

@Jeff Krehmer Yeah, I went to Saudi few years ago and almost all the water especially in their port cities was processed sea water. Aren't they doing any research or any studies on other viable option? considering the amount of cash they have to do things like NEOM, they should be focusing on core issue of water. heard from someone that in some places they were using underground water for farming in some places. Agree on the food part, it might be my personal opinion but the amount of processed food I see everywhere has increased significantly. I wish there was a way to make pizza healthy lol.
