🗓️ Verbs & Story Practice For our next Ocha & Chat, we’ll practise some very important beginner verbs and look at a story together: “Asuka’s First Day at University.” These verbs appear constantly in everyday Japanese, so getting comfortable with them will really help your speaking. 🧠 Focus Verbs (ます form) します — shimasu — to do います — imasu — to exist (people / animals) あります — arimasu — to exist (things) 行きます — ikimasu — to go ✏️ Example Sentences 私は毎日勉強します。Watashi wa mainichi benkyō shimasu. I study every day. 大学に学生がいます。Daigaku ni gakusei ga imasu. There are students at the university. 教室に本があります。Kyōshitsu ni hon ga arimasu. There is a book in the classroom. 大学に行きます。Daigaku ni ikimasu.
