Hi Melody, Do make a note of all architectural companies and see if they offer any apprenticeships by checking their website. Feel free to email those companies or register your interest for when they come out. That should help.

@Melody Rahmani Perfect! I think it's just being patient and practicing assessments/interviews before they come. If they don't reply after quite some time, just send another email or call recruitment.
CV Feedback – Aspiring Architect (Degree Apprenticeship Route)
Hi everyone, I’m Hassan a Year 13 student in London aiming for an Apprenticeships. I’m mainly focused on applying for Level 6 Architectural Assistant Degree Apprenticeships and want to make sure my CV reflects that goal. I’d really appreciate any advice or feedback on how to make it stand out to firms. Thanks in advance ~ Hassan

Hey Hassan, please see tips below: - Why's the file link on the CV? It's probably an error but I just wanted to highlight that. - I'd remove the aspiring and future line, it's better suited for LinkedIn imo. - Put your portfolio link on your CV, that's a nice addition! - Make the profile short and snappy. - I see quite a bit of whitespace which could be making your CV 2 pages, so try and maximise all the available space. - Place experiences near the top of your CV, that's your USP. - Do check Sami's CV guide under the Classroom Tab! Hope this helps.

@Hassan Jamil Smith Sure. - I feel like your portfolio features wouldn't be necessary on your CV because it would be on your portfolio anyway. I would recommend you attach the portfolio link to your CV instead. - 1 more bullet point per experience would be perfect. - Make the name bigger and central on the document. - Phone number and postcode not necessary on CV, you'd put that info in an application form anyway. - I'd assume the online learning section is on your LinkedIn, so I'd take that out of your CV. You got LinkedIn on your CV already and that should be fine. Good improvements overall Hassan. Add these tweaks and you should be good to go.
Mini projects
Hello everyone!!!!!!! Needed advice on mini projects related to aerospace or engineering that I could do on the side , would be helpful when apply for apprenticeship and UCAS. For context, I am an a level student who studies maths , physics , compsci ,would love to be an Aerospace engineer. For example, could designing gliders be something useful ?

Hey Christy, any project is extremely useful because employers love to find out more about them. You study great subjects and the Computer Science NEA can be a great starting point. In general for any project, make sure you are able to define your purpose. So what problem would designing gliders solve? What's your target audience? What are your objectives? Hope this helps.
Applying for Degree Apprenticeships while already at uni — anyone else?
Hey everyone, I’ve just started my first year at the University of Leicester studying Software Engineering, but I’m still applying for tech, consulting and other degree apprenticeships (mainly with companies like EY, RSM, etc). I actually applied before starting uni but was unsuccessfulwith IBM and other apprenticeships so I’m giving it anothergo while studying. Just wondering if anyone else here is in a similar situation, applying for degree apprenticeships while already atuniversity — and if so, how are you finding it? Do you think it’s still worth pursuing?
