Sweet or salty
What are your biggest cravings before your period? Lately, I want to eat as much spicy, salt and lime as possible 🌝!

Usually I'm craving for Asian food (Korean, Japanese, Thai). Sometimes sweets 😋
Menstruation and sadness
I once heard this phrase: the first days of your period and what you do is how you deal with the sadness. There is an opinion that the first days of menstruation are a time when the body “cries” because pregnancy has not occurred. And although we may not consciously plan a child, our body does a huge job every month, preparing a “house”. I usually want to be on bed, drink hot tea, eat chocolate and watch movies. And it's the same for just sadness and menstruation. And how do you live these days? Have you noticed that your habits during menstruation and during ordinary sadness coincide?

@Danique Van der voorn the Instagram proposals get me too! It’s like those emotions just need a way out. 😂 And the chocolate thing is such a classic — our bodies definitely know what they want during that time! Thanks for sharing your experience!

@Joséphine Reda it’s that overwhelming energy of the crowd and the intensity of the moment. When the hormones kick in, everything just feels 'too much' and our brains don't know how to process it other than crying. Thank you for sharing
Doctors and period pain
Hi everyone! Something that I'm very curious to hear about is whether any of you have found valuable help from doctors. I have very debilitating period pain, and I'm still seeking a way to deal with it. But anytime I tried to talk to a doctor about it (either my general doctor or my gynecologist), their answer was just prescribing painkillers or birth control. Which are not good for me because I'm allergic to painkillers and I don't want to go on birth control. So, I'm curious to know what your experience with doctors was, and if it was a positive one, what kind of doctor was it? And in which country? (I'm Italian, by the way)

The same experience. But for me to stop suppressing my emotions helped throughout my cycle. At first it was hard and even people around me told me to get my hormones under control. But honestly, physically, my cycle started to get easier.
Hey there ❤️
Hi everyone. Im new to this community. Im Ramy from UK. I have never ever given priority to my cycle. Something that felt so off to me. But now i feel like its time i love myself and embrace myself. I definitely need help. Im 10 days late to getting a period. Im not pregnant. What am i supposed to do? 😭

I've noticed that when I'm really stressed during the month before my period, my period is late and heavy. So maybe stress is causing your period to be late, if that's the case, you can use relaxation techniques during the month
Before you set your 2026 goals...
Hey loves, We're about to enter that time of year where everyone starts setting resolutions, mapping out goals, making vision boards. And don't get me wrong... I love a good vision board. I've been making them for years!!! But here's what I've learned this year: we hold so tight to our goals that we don't leave any space for the unexpected things to find us. For me, this year, nothing went according to plan. Most of my goals failed. But the two biggest opportunities that changed everything... They weren't on my list at all. I just wrote a very raw post on Substack about this about failures, unexpected opportunities, and what happens when you finally let go of control. I think it might shift how you approach 2026. https://open.substack.com/pub/thesyncway/p/the-year-i-almost-quit?r=6bssn1&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true (It's probably the most vulnerability that I shared online since I started this (online) life) Sending love, Teo
