On the past Sunday when I read my devotion, the scripture was Galatians 5:22-23, it was about the fruits of the Holy Spirit and the scripture my pastor preached on was Galation 5:22-23 again! At that moment, I know that God wants me to focus on letting the Holy Spirit guide me, to nurture me so I can bear the fruits of the Holy Spirit. And here we are talking about Holy Spirit which strengthen my faith that the Holy Spirit will guide me because I've been gifted this gift the moment I got baptised. Praise the Lord for He reminded me once again that He is always with me.

@Laura Hanson I had the same feeling as you where I felt angry when situations in life seemed so unfair and they tend to reward people who are not even doing what they should do, especially for people at work, they push their responsibilities away and still get promotions and rewards. And I felt unfair that I’ve been doing what God told me to do, perform well, try to be helpful and yet there is nothing! But at the same time, I realized that I’m also the prodigal son at some area of my life, kept sinning and kept coming back to son for forgiveness. And when I read the passage that said about celebrating, the thought of “why do I need to be upset with these people who never do their part? And if my father is throwing a party, the more I should go in, drink and eat to get my shares back because I’m worthy and I’m getting this blessings that my Father has prepared, ain’t going to waste the blessings that God has prepared for me. And I know deep in my heart that I’m not loving, not gracious, and not generous enough and that’s what I need to change in God’s given strength, not by my own. And I prayed that God will always help me see myself from far and reflect on my own day by day and grow to become a better Christian in God’s grace.

Key Verse (ESV): “Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.” (Luke 15:7) SOAP Prompts: When have you felt “lost” and how has God pursued you?

Our Heavenly Father loves us no matter what. Even though I’m a sinner, I admit that I sin, I am saved, sometimes I’ll still be like the lost sheep, wandered away from our shepherd. And I believe this is telling me that no matter how many times I got lost in my life, our heavenly father will still look for us and bring us back close to him. And I decided to share the good news to everyone I meet today. And during dinner, I shared with my friend what God said in bible about when we are lost, God will looks for us and bring us back, even when we wandered off, we will eventually be found and join the pack again. I thank God for giving me this chance to spread the Good News to my friend who is not a Christian.

Hi all, although my prayer isn’t as serious as illness but I’ve been through a lot these past 1 year. Been suffering from hives since last October and couldn’t find cause of this and been working long hours on my 9-5. Couldn’t really rest well and been waking up in the middle of the night sometimes thinking about work. Felt lost and do not know why I’m in this world and what is the purpose that God gives me life into this world. I also thought of dying, what a relief it will be…

Allow me to share what I felt this morning after the SOAP. I felt that Our Lord Jesus was standing beside me and giving me a tap on my shoulder. In that moment I felt safe. And I gave myself a mission to make 1 person happy in my work place and I think I made it. Will continue with the second day tomorrow morning! Thanks @Laura Hanson
