I'm doing the cold reader magnet to get emails thing. It's a prequel novella about a couple that already is together when the series starts. I did 1 week of a FB ad from memory just to get the thing out there. I got 82 new subscribers. Then I had time to rewatch Mal's video and made a new ad (this time with my meta pixel done correctly, got it as a lead ad instead of website traffic, etc) and this week I've had 126 new subscribers and still another day to go for a true comparison. So anyway, yay, thanks! But my question is, how long should I run it? The 2nd book in the series releases next Thursday 5/21. I'm spending $5/day. Should I come up with a target number of emails and stop when I hit it? Or maybe a month now, then in a couple months, do it again? Thanks!

I ran one ad for a closed door romantasy series and spent around 60 dollars and got nothing back. But that's okay, it's all a part of the learning, right? FYI, this is a seven book romantasy series that I just completed, with dragons, political intrigue, hidden identities and found family like rick riordan books. So here are my many questions to those of you who are running successful ads similar to my target right now: - What creatives do you use? Videos or Images? - How many creatives per adset? - How long is the testing period that I have to wait for? - Should I state that my books are in KU or not? - And here are some of the creatives I tested, give me all your brutal feedback: a static image of the book cover and the tropes, and then a fast paced video titled "pov you want a book with these vibes and this quote", and it has a quote abt MMC falling for FMC despite losing his memory. Hey guys! I need some help :) I've got around 250 dollars to spend on advertising, and I'd like to split it between FB and Amazon ads. And I've got a standalone book about a mystery romance and a romantasy series with dragons (this one is currently incomplete but 3/7 books are published and I have B4 and B5 written, too) I believe I can get the whole book series out before quarter 3 of this year, so rapid release is not a problem. Now here comes the twist, my romantasy books and normal romance books are in 2 different pen names. So, I'll have to pick one. FYI, i have done nothing to market my romantasy series yet and my current 'bestseller' is the mystery romance. Plus, all are closed door romances! Now that you guys know everything, here are my main questions: - Which books should I advertise? And should I wait till the whole series is out before it? - How much for FB ads and how much for amazon? - What should the 'logistics' of my ad be? Should i have a daily ad budget of 5 dollars for a month, and should i have an image ad or a video. - Any other advice? Should I add images of dragons if I'm doing the romantasy series?
