There are numerous entry points into any industry. I was able to get my foot in the door and develop my skills enough to demonstrate my capabilities. Now, I am considering a transition into an adjacent field within the industry. This move would position me for greater opportunities in terms of experience and networking, which would, in turn, support my personal endeavors.

Two years ago, I sent a cold email to the director of a gallery saying hello. We had a conversation that did not progress past introductions. I would follow up with a simple email every 6 months to keep myself relevant. This week, I was invited to work for the gallery. Now I get to walk in and say good morning to the staff.

There is something about nostalgia that has interested me lately. This feeling only gets stronger as I age and is something everyone experiences. A bittersweet feeling from a memory. I am exploring this in my latest series about Television. To show a scene that triggers that emotion to understand it deeper. What makes you nostalgic?

Today I had a moment of contentment. To have the opportunity to work at a high-level institution in my industry makes me proud of the progress I have made. I guess you could say I am enjoying the fruits of my labor.

One of the major issues I ran into was tracking my cash flow and investing more capital into my business. After having a conversation with William about budget adjustments and account management, I was able to increase my marketing with the extra investment. I am also able to track everything with the software he recommended after giving me a quick walkthrough.
