🛎️ Why I am changing how we work together...AGAIN
Sorry for all of the changes recently, but I am a creative, and I do not like to be boxed in to what I create and share. Plus, I am a CEO who leads with her heart first. And my heart is telling me to simplify the pricing format so that we can focus on freely building our income streams, however that looks for the day. Starting today, I am moving to a $9 monthly model for full access to everything I create. The community remains free for everyone to join and connect. If you want my personal roadmap, the templates, and the deep dive training on AI and faceless content, the $9 monthly pass is all you need. I decided to drop the VIP tier to focus on helping more people get their content and products online. My goal is to help you move from feeling lost to getting paid. I am stripping away the complexity so we can focus on the daily actions that bring results. You do not need a fancy setup to start winning. Will there be changes again to the structure...probably. Because I am building this community in real time and as I evolve, so will this venture. Drop a comment and let us know of a time you have pivoted in your business. @Shywealth Journey @Yurie Zhuang @Alice Grant @Alicia Cole @Ada Isnt-Real @Alicia Kopp @Alison Agee @Alison James @Allison Benda @Andetra Fennie @Angela Mccabe @Angie Keasler @Anita Daniels @Ava Hemphill @Becki Salzman @Betsy Dent @Bianca Lee @Brandi Foutch @Brandi Lewis @Brittanee Adams @Camilla Ricketts @Candis Jones @Carrie Crews @Cathy Williams @Dr. Catina A Rollins @Catrina Johnson @Charea Armstrong @Christy Brooks @Chrystal Blaylock @Connie Christian @Corneshia Mulkey @Danielle Pace @Dawn Robinson @Dawn Schaedel @Deanna Bridges @Deborah Cocks @Deidre Carter-Briscoe @Denice Mann @Des Dreckett @Ebone Holmes @Elizabeth Salgado @Erika Thurman @Farrin Turner @Fran Perez @Gail Mays @LaSherry Williams @Jacqueline Gordon @Janae Brown @Jay Anderson @Jeana H @Jennifer Weiner @Jennifer Turner @Jen Pm @Jillian Pavlick @Jovon Alexander @Katrina R. @Latashia Crenshaw agree. Too many people think about pleasing the customers they currently have. And perhaps the shift would ignite more of the better perfect customer in their life doorway.
🛎️ DFY Wednesday Activity: Promote a ready-made freebie
📌 Today I want you to get comfortable actually USING a done-for-you product. I’m giving you a ready-made Canva planner. For this activity, you are not redesigning it. You are not changing the title. You are not rewriting the pages. ✏️ Your only Canva edit is adding your name or business name to the cover. 👀 Before you download it, scroll through the full planner. Know what you are giving away. 📥 Then I’m going to show you how to use Google Forms to collect a name and email address before someone gets the planner. This is a simple option if you do not have a website or another way to collect emails yet. 💡 I still want you to learn how to do this with Google Forms because it gives you a basic way to collect leads and deliver a freebie without waiting until you have a full setup. By the end of today’s activity, you should have: ✅ A ready-to-share freebie ✅ A Google Form collecting names and emails ✅ A link you can promote ✅ A simple way to deliver the planner after someone signs up ➡️ Here is the activity: https://jeweled-borogovia-cde.notion.site/DFY-Wednesday-Promote-a-ready-made-freebie-3c835db4363f800b83c0e53055d2b614 Your job today: Complete the activity. Test your Google Form. Then come back and drop your form link in the comments. 🤝 We’ll test each other’s freebies and make sure the signup and delivery process works. It seems I’m unable to find anywhere that says this. I’m quite familiar with Google Docs, but not drive. Do I have to be on a computer? I use my phone for everything. ‘Set the PDF to Anyone with the link can view’ Thank you. And really nice planner! Most of the planners I see are too busy for me. I love the white space!! I also couldn’t open it in good notes. But I’m guessing maybe that’s a computer thing too. I’ll grab my laptop later. Right now I’m heading out and get to drive 40 miles in a thunderstorm! Yay me!🤣
🛎️ Stop confusing faceless and anonymous business models
Most people starting out get tripped up on 2 terms that sound similar but lead to different results. Learning the difference will save you a lot of confusion as you build your brand. Faceless content is a creative choice. It means your face stays off camera, but your brand relies on your voice, your writing, and your specific point of view. You are still the person behind the screen. People follow you because they value your perspective. Anonymous business is about your private information. This involves how you register your LLC or who owns the domain name. Most creators here do not need to be anonymous. You can run a successful faceless brand while being totally transparent about your name and identity. Find today's lesson in the classroom. Faceless Digital Marketing ➡️ Module 1 ➡️ Lesson 1 I want you to think about 2 brands you follow that never show a face. Do you know who owns them, or are they a mystery to you? Share the names of those 2 brands below so we can see how they operate. 🚀😊

@Latashia Crenshaw oh, that’s so interesting! When I read this I was immediately searching my head for someone. So if they don’t have a regular person/avatar that represents the en they are faceless. Hmmm, I think a lot of us in this world need to read this! @Latashia Crenshaw can you talk about that in other groups you are in? It could make a huge difference for people all caught up in doing faceless!
🛎️ I’m doing Reels differently this time
I’m getting back online as an affiliate marketer. And this time, there is one thing I already know about myself. I do not want to build my business around filming myself all day. I can do video. I have had success creating content on TikTok and LinkedIn. What I enjoy is figuring out what someone needs, breaking it down, and creating content that helps them get a result. What I do not enjoy is setting up the camera, recording take after take, editing video, second-guessing it, and turning 1 post into a whole production. I am an overthinker. Give me a video to create from scratch, and I can find 27 things to think about before I ever hit post. And there was another thing I had to admit. For all the content I have created over the years, I have never been very consistent about using Reels in my feed and Stories. I want to change that. But I also know myself well enough to know that forcing myself into a content routine I do not enjoy probably is not going to last. So I am trying another way. I’m starting with premade faceless Reels The key for me is that I am not planning to take a premade Reel and simply post it as-is. I want the Reel to do the part I do not enjoy doing. Give me the visual. Give me the starting point. Then I can add the part I am good at: - the message - the teaching - the hook - the caption - the connection to the offer - the CTA That is a system I can actually see myself using. Find a Reel that works as the base. Make a few changes in Canva. Add my message. Post it. Move on with my day. And because I am testing this myself, I am going to share what I learn with you here inside Five Star Life Club. What works for me. What I change. What I notice. And probably a few things I overthink before reminding myself why I started using premade Reels in the first place. Then the 25-year educator in me showed up Because I knew I could not add 144 Reels to the Classroom and say: “Here you go. Figure it out.” I know exactly what can happen next.
