Hmmm I have been told by medical staff they are not allowed to take photos of patients. I guess we can šŸ˜‚

The darker part of the background accentuated well, didn't it?
Introduction
Hello, I'm a 16-year-old photographer from Hungary. I started in 2024 Dec., when I got my first camera (Sony A7 I) Since then, I've been an event photographer for my high school You can find me on social media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61576842547898 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/rba.photo/ I also attached some of my best photos, with which I've won (3rd place in my category) in my local contest

Oh @Attila Reviczky-Balogh. At 16, my shots were like primitive compared to yours. These are awesomely meaningful shots. Can’t wait to see more of yours. 🄰

@Attila Reviczky-Balogh When you have a moment, would you be able to walk us through the thinking/intent for those shots please? I like the mood/emotion of the series and I think they deserved a few words. I understand that description for photos are pointless in many communities. The photos were meant to tell their own story. I'm still in the leaning journey. Still calling for guard-rails at times. šŸ˜… Please feel free to not describe them if preferred. I totally understand!
Shooting more than you need
This lesson took me a long while to really learn but I found that it's always better to shoot more in the frame than you need shoot bigger than the image you're really looking for or looking at because that way you don't cut off somebody's arm or cut off somebody's feet or somebody's leg or what or somebody's head unintentionally you can always crop the stuff out that you don't need but you can't add in what you don't have

That’s absolutely essential for reactive shootings with vintage cameras in my view too. For active shootings where your intent frames the shot, I find less is more. Also we could make use of shooting ratios as opposed to the native camera aspect ratio to mitigate the unconscious misframing situations too. This would aid as a buffer zones when we need a little shifting.
Assignment #11: Palace from behind
"My second home" - Schoenbrunn Palace in Vienna! I felt the warmness of this beautiful day, but it was also a bit windy and still quite "cool" for April. These feelings are also represented in the picture - the statue covered in shadow and light. The palace fully in the sun. Hope you enjoy this view ;-) f8 / 1/500 / ISO 200

šŸ˜‚ I like the humour @Klaus Nenning. Great use of the width! The randomised figures on the ground is so intriguing. Pauses me every time!
Here is your new Color Cheat Sheet!
It's almost 3AM and I'm not sure if I'm still sane šŸ˜… I've been working on this Color Guide for the last 8 hours straight — and I think it's finally done. It's called **The Complete Color Guide** and it covers: → Color Emotions — how each color feels and how to use it intentionally → 10 Color Harmonies — with diagrams and color samples → A Quick Reference sheet you can print and keep next to your monitor This is something I genuinely wish I had when I started shooting. Color is one of those things nobody really teaches you — you just kind of figure it out over years. This guide is my attempt to shortcut that. Download it below.šŸ“„ And if you have 2 minutes: I'd love your honest feedback. Does it make sense? Is anything unclear? Would you actually use it?
