I focused on visitors for 3 months and here's what happened
I am so excited about the new growth tab because it really helps me focus on the numbers that matter most. I spent the last 3 months checking, tracking, and optimizing traffic (aka visitors in your growth dashboard) daily and some wonderful things happened: #1: Skool got even simpler - One priority means less decision fatigue - You wake up knowing exactly what to work on - Most of your to-do list turns out to be unnecessary when you have enough traffic π
- You learn something new every day by looking at data based on what you actually did instead of daydreaming about all the things you could do #2: And even more fun... - New members joining daily is exciting and gives me so much energyΒ - Because I get the rewards I want to launch new ads, make new posts, etcβ¦ it becomes addictive because I have the positive reinforcementΒ - My members feel like they are cheering for and are part of the winning team. Seeing new people come in daily reassures them that they are in the right spaceβ¦ itβs an upward spiral #3: Plus my skool got better - Seeing which ad angles perform helped me to understand what I needed to add/remove from my community to give people what they want - More people means more problems to solve. New problems become new solutions. New solutions become new ads. New ads become new people. New people become new problems. I have a traffic and product development flywheel. - Fresh members means momentum and engagement in the community. More new and excited people alongside existing members who can already help them out and see how far they've come creates more community, and that's ultimately the thing we're selling What it means in numbers - I almost tripled my traffic from 6,333 to 18,012 - From an average of 3.5k in new MRR in the months before I started, to 9.1k MRR on average in the 3 months after, to 12k new MRR in the last 30 days Takeaway: When in doubt or feeling overwhelmed, open up the growth tab every day and focus on getting the traffic number up.
