Skool Analytics Made Easy (Understand The Skool Dashboard) Replay
If Skool’s dashboard or analytics has ever confused you, this replay is going to help everything click. @Matthew Burns breaks down each part of the dashboard in a way that’s clear, practical, and genuinely easy to follow. He explains what your numbers actually mean, how to interpret them, and how to use your data to grow your community with confidence. He also digs into the areas most creators misunderstand, like when your data becomes reliable, why month three churn shows up in so many communities, and how to tell whether your retention is healthy. He covers cohorts, conversion, cash flow, LTV, and more, all in simple beginner friendly language. So if you’ve ever opened your dashboard and felt overwhelmed or unsure what you’re looking at, this training will finally make it make sense. Watch the replay here: Skool Dashboard Explained: How To Read Your Data And Grow Your Community Faster 👇 If you have any data questions after watching, feel free to tag Matthew Burns in the comments. He lives for these conversations and is always happy to help.

When I had a community on Circle in 2023 and was shopping other community platforms I vaguely recall coming across this thing called Skool I didn't know who Sam Ovens was but I thought "that's interesting, I gotta check that out" ...and then forgot to go back and check it out Until 2024 ... the email from Hormozi announcing he was all in on Skool ... that was followed by an email from Evelyn Weiss ... and then on a networking call in the H7 Network Skool came up again Ok Universe, I got the signal 🤓 I've been all in 🟩 solid green since February 20, 2024 on fire before there was 🔥 I visited Skool HQ on Friday September 13, 2024 Goose & I had fun taking the picture to add to the wall (@wise... near the photo of Devon) I haven't made 6 figures or gained my 🚀 ...yet.. that, the ⭐ and the 👑 are coming in 2026 😸 I love the Skooliverse 🤓
Wise Words From Sam Ovens
I saw a comment from Sam this morning and I thought I'd share it all with you. For me, I believe this is something a lot of people face, especially when building their business/community.

How Many Communities Are You In?
Being considered a Skool "Power User", I'm in a lot of communities.. But I don't see that as a bad thing. One of the signs that someone is going to stick around on the platform is when they get plugged in and are a part of several communities! There are a mix of people in here.. some OGs, some who have been around a bit, & some brand new. I want to know how many communities you're in and what makes you join and stay in a community? Be as specific as you want to be :) This will be helpful for those who are wanting and working on creating a community worth joining and investing time to really become a member. 🫶

Ok, I did the copy pasting lists accounting conversation with ChatGPT let’s break this down clearly from your numbers: - Total communities you’re in: 418 - Owner: 50 (a lot of trials I'm building before owner transfer + archived/active) - Active (Member of): 197 - Archived (Member of): 179 (218 total with old owned) - Pending: 3 GUESStimating.... my ACTUAL activity: - Focused activity in 5 maybe 10 at any time - Like & post in maybe 30 🤷 - GIF & go in..... a lot NINE 🐾 Dog communities I'm a member of: 1. ACE Adventure Canine 2. Dog arthritis support group 3. Dog Photography School 4. Loyal Shepherds 5. Nothing But Dogs 6. The Canine Advocates 7. Turner Dog Training 🐾 8. The 66 Club 9. Hoof and Paw Now that you made me look I can do a deep clean, scrape off the barnacles... weed the garden a bit while I'm waiting for Jester to bounce back again

I landed in Bali at $0/month, now I'm at $3620/month 2 months later
2 Months ago I landed in Bali with $500. I'd just met @Alistair Booth at the airport, I had a month of accommodation booked in the Bali slums, and I knew I had to make something work FAST. The original plan was that I'd do "digital detox" coaching and Alistair would do acne coaching, which we'd both be promoting with long-form content. But, a few days in, we realized there was no way to guarantee our success with that (in the span of a few weeks) so we started looking for new ways we could make money more quickly. And after some back and forth with Jenna, and a few ideas I never acted on, we landed on the perfect business model for us at the time. LOOMTUBE. "Helping entrepreneurs turn looms into high quality YouTube videos." It was perfect. See, for a few months before Bali I was helping coaches with their titles, thumbnails and hooks, which meant I could handle the pre-production side of things. And, Alistair had been editing his whole life, which meant he could spice up the videos to make them more engaging during post-production. So for the next few weeks we put our heads down and worked as much as we could. One demo video after another, videos for a new YouTube channel we made, and reaching out to anyone we'd ever even semi-connected with to see if they'd be interested. The result? Not much... Jenna bought a YouTube hotseat session for $25, but that was where our success stopped at the time. The reason? We simply hadn't put in enough reps. We'd been at it for a few weeks but if we wanted this to work, we'd need to do even more, for even longer. So is that what we did? Nope. Because around that time... We got lucky. Sort of... About a month into our journey, we signed our first big client at $2500, and before we knew it he decided to hire us full-time at $3000/month each. The reason I say we got lucky, is because one client solved our income issues overnight. But the reason I say "sort of lucky", is because of the following:
