To P.S. or not to P.S. in every single email?
Hey everyone, I’m currently drafting a 7-email sequence for a client in the coaching niche, and I’m hitting a tactical dilemma. I know that the P.S. (Postscript) is one of the most read parts of an email. Because of that, I’m tempted to put a P.S. at the bottom of all 7 emails to drop extra hooks, build curiosity, or push the CTA. But then I thought: Is that too much? Will the readers get bored or predict my formula if they see a P.S. every single day? For the experienced copywriters here: What is your golden rule for using P.S. lines in a short automated sequence? Do you use it in every email, or do you skip it randomly to keep things fresh? And what’s your favorite way to use a P.S.? (Selling the product, telling a final joke, or opening a loop for the next email?) Would love to hear your workflow before I ruin this client's flow! 😂 Cheers! ☕

@Maliha M Thanks for your reply. You’re totally right about people tuning out if it’s overdone. I guess I was just using it for the sake of using it. I like your approach of keeping it separate for a specific reason. Appreciate the insight, Maliha!
Why 90% of coaches completely disappoint me ?
Hey everyone, I have a confession: I love subscribing to coaches' email lists to study how they build trust and sell their offers. But lately, 90% of them have deeply disappointed me. They simply don't understand the power of an email list. They send 2 or 3 beautiful newsletters, and then... they vanish into thin air. Some only send ONE welcome email and I never hear from them again. They become "ghost coaches." Only about 10% email regularly, and even fewer write daily. I’ve always believed that the more often you show up, the easier it is to build a human connection. John mentioned this in his Starter Pack too: daily emailing is the absolute best way to nurture your relationship with readers. But let’s be honest, writing every day is hard. Whether you have AI or not, if you run out of ideas, you hit a wall and burn out. That’s why I’m really excited about John's new pre-sale for Daily Emails 101. Here is what’s inside that fixes this problem completely: - The 101 Prompts: These are not some random templates you can just Google or download for free online. They are built from John's actual, real-world experience managing massive email campaigns. It’s pure practical psychology to keep people reading. - The 5-Minute Crash Course: The best part is you don't need years of copywriting experience or a super creative brain to do this. It just gives you a simple structure to get your daily email done fast without overthinking. The pre-sale is only $5, and the deadline is tonight, Sunday, July 26, at 11:59pm PST! 👉 See how John writes money-making emails in 5 minutes here: Daily Emails 101 (Pre-sale ends tonight!) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quick question for the group: So... I tried to use John's "Meat + Bone + CTA" framework to write this entire post as an email sample. Be honest with me: Does it actually make you want to click the link, or did I just make a complete fool of myself? 😂

@Maliha M Wow Maliha, thank you so much for this! This is pure gold and exactly the kind of brutal feedback I was hoping for. Your point about 'I always believed' completely blew my mind. I never realized how much that phrase undercuts authority until you pointed it out. And you’re totally right about the 10% figure, I definitely made that up based on my own inbox, so making a joke out of it would have been way better. I'm definitely saving your comment to my notes for my next drafts. Thanks for taking the time to write this out (and for moving my post to the right category)! 🙏☕
Why do most DTC brands focus more on design than on copy itself?
I once replied to an email from Colin Beaney (he writes great emails btw). I asked him if he also felt that plain text emails sold more than those with over-the-top designs (specifically speaking about DTC brands). He told me that, as much as designed emails look more professional, plain text emails are actually more effective. And I agree with him, because if you stop to think about it, you can explore so much more with plain text emails, right?! More storytelling, more information, more entertainment. Anyway, what's your take on this? Team plain text or design?

@Lhincoln Araujo Totally agree. Over-designing with massive, ugly buttons just kills the reading flow. It becomes an ad, not an email. But you’re spot on, when good design actually supports great copy instead of distracting from it, that's a killer combo. I haven't checked out Carnivore Snax's emails yet, but I definitely will now. Thanks for the drop, that’s a great resource to study!

@Chavy Helfgott That’s a really good point. I didn't think about the supplement or household niches. You’re totally right, seeing the same product photo over and over gets boring fast. Using text to attack the problem from different angles sounds way more effective for those items. Thanks for the insight!
Hey everyone! New member checking in from Vietnam 🇻🇳
Just joined the Daily Email House and wanted to introduce myself. I’m Jill. I’ve fallen completely in love with copywriting recently, specifically the art of daily email marketing. My big focus right now is learning how to write high-converting emails for Coaches and Info-Product creators. I’m here to absorb as much knowledge as possible, learn from John's refreshing approach, and connect with other high-level executors in the group. Looking forward to diving into the discussions! What's the #1 resource you'd recommend for someone mastering the daily email craft? ☕

@John Bejakovic Thanks for the warm welcome, John! I just went through the Starter Pack and honestly, your step-by-step roadmap for building and optimizing a list is gold. Super helpful for someone starting out like me. And you’re totally right, nothing beats actually hitting 'Send'. Time to stop overthinking and get to work!
