In this part of California, our winters get down to 0°C, and our summers up to 47°C. Neither ends of the range are terrible, unless you find yourself ill equipped. For me, the worst part about the climate here is that you don't experience all four seasons. I grew up in Colorado. In Colorado, you never have to wonder what season you're in. Summers are sunny and warm. Fall leaves are vibrant reds, oranges and yellows. Winter brings blankets of white snow, and in Spring the environment begins to awaken and blossom. Here in Bakersfield, you have hot and less hot... 🤣
