Interested in a Live Call on Land, Gardening & Self-Sustainability in Paraguay?
As a fellow member of this community, I was wondering if others might be interested in a live group call focused on: - Land buying experiences & tips - Organic gardening & permaculture - Self-sustaining farming - Networking with like-minded people in Paraguay If there's enough interest, we could collect our questions and experiences for a lively exchange. If you like the idea, please comment or react below. You can already share what topics or questions you'd like to discuss. Looking forward to connecting with you all

Hi Emil, I would be very interested in this group session. Great to get an idea of what to expect when starting to work the land!
In a pickle and need advises!!
I am thinking. I left Paraguay last week for my home country to clear up some unfinished business. I am waiting on my residency card and cedula. I would like to return at the end of October or the first week in November. When, I return I am unable to practice any business because I do not have my residency card and cedula as it is still processing I am an IT professional, provide Networking services, such as installation of cables, for computer networks, installing computers, security cameras solutions, I also provide training in supply chain management.

Hi Sean, my two cents. By far the best situation would of course be if you can take any online work with you to Paraguay, maybe in the training area. You would have income while waiting for your cedula and setting yourself up professionally in Paraguay. The other skills you mention seem to require physical presence. Maybe contact organizations that require network installation and maintenance and have support structures in place, for example educational institutions like universities? There are a lot in Asuncion. Knowledge of Spanish is essential, but German also opens doors.
List of good hospitals?
Any recommendations for hospitals? Let me know the city too 😊

I've been to Bautista, close to Villamorra. Bewildering, but efficient and good quality service once you get the hang of how things are organized.
