Morning 5k walk for Run the Rainbow 🌈 supporting Children’s Hospital in conjunction with Hal’s St Paddy’s ☘️ Parade…breakfast loading…protein pancakes, eggs and electrolytes!

@Vanesha Williams soooo, I don’t “prepare” for the 5k walks. I just try to walk at least 3 times a week. But the 5k start pace is just kinda chill, “let’s get moving” kinda action. But at the .25 mark I need to be “getting it” and arms pumping! 😂 My pace times have been getting better with the 3 walks a week I’ve been doing recently.

@Vanesha Williams Oh, and I’m a bit of a competitor…I’ll usually scope out someone out in front of me and be like, “ ok I gotta pass them”, but they can’t pass me back 🤭😝 (if they’re only walking and not walk/run/walk).
