What are everyone's thoughts on the best way to stake and prune tomatoes ? I get the feeling that some you tube videos are a bit gimmicky, in regard to single stem vines growing 10 feet tall and needing a small scissor lift to harvest? Maybe double leaders perhaps? Also I've cut some great sturdy 6-8ft bamboo stakes.. Just wondering how close to push them into the plant.. probably just beside the current root ball ??? This is my first real effort trying hard.. my first attempt sprawled all over the ground, had the wettest summer on record then got hammered by Cyclone Gabrielle.. My soil is so dead, not a worm to be found, but I refuse to use chemical fertilisers.. I'm going to top dress with an organic fertiliser and some more decent compost soon..

The old way of Vlogging doesn't work in social media and on YouTube, but it's still alive and well here. Why? Because this community isn't based on an algorithm to sell add space and we are free to follow watch and interact with whoever we choose. Today I have been curating and Vlogging on the topic of wheat and my journey today with bread. Will all 150 members watch it? Nope, but those interested in it will. As promised from the start, I said I would share updates with the community. I have changed the branding to a more vintage look and feel all over the community pages. Here are the images created for the new classroom look and feel. My goal is to keep improving these modules over time to make them highly educational with easy-to-follow implementation. They look much better, yes, to the older green banners for the courses?
