Small win this week
I completed setting up the core structure here. It's not perfect, but it's usable -- and that's what matters at this stage. What I'm taking away from that: → Getting something into a real environment is more valuable than refining it in isolation.

Something I've been noticing.
It's easy to keep thinking about a decision without actually moving it forward. Even when the next step is small. This week I'm focusing on: → taking one concrete step instead of trying to figure everything out first. That feels like enough for now.

Build in structure or let it evolve?
What I'm dealing with: I'm trying to decide how much structure to build into something new I'm creating, versus letting it evolve over time. What I've considered: If I over-design it, I risk building something people don't actually use. If I under-design it, it may not be clear enough to be useful. Where I'm stuck: How to find the balance between clarity and flexibility early on. What I'm thinking of doing: Start simple and adjust based on real use ... but I'm not fully confident that's the right call. Interested in perspective if anyone has worked through something similar.

Moving toward group-based coaching work
Lately, I’ve been thinking about how much of my work is shifting away from 1:1 coaching toward something more group-based. Part of me is excited. It’s more scalable. It creates a different kind of value. Part of me isn’t so sure. I’ve spent years working directly with individuals, and stepping back from that—even partially—feels like a real transition. So the question I keep coming back to is this:How do I stay connected to the depth of that work while building something that operates differently? For now, the answer is pretty simple:→ Keep building the structure and see how people actually use it. Then pay attention. Because that’s where the real learning is.

Tip: If you’re not sure what to post, even a few sentences is enough.
Welcome -- We're Live!
This is a simple space for thinking things through. If something in your career, direction, or next step feels unclear, you don’t need to have it figured out before you post. Just start where you are. Most people begin with a Weekly Reflection or a Question. If you’re not sure what to do, start here: → Click “Write something”→ Choose Weekly Reflection or Question→ Write a few sentences about what you’re dealing with Keep it simple. You don’t need to get it “right.” I’ll be here—and will respond when it’s helpful. — William
