We Are Moving
Family, To better serve you and bring our weekly reflections, deep dives, and courses under one single roof, we are officially transitioning our community entirely over to Substack. Moving forward, The Sword Dispatch on Substack will be our central hub for everything: our weekly essays, the 30-Week Journey, our video archives, and our community chat. What this means for you: Your Next Steps to Join Me: Thank you for honoring this journey of stewardship and rest with me. See you over on Substack!

Make My Paths Straight Today Again
There is a difference between asking God to bless your plans… and asking Him to order your steps. Most of us don’t intentionally ignore God. We simply move faster than trust. We wake up already solving, calculating, reacting, and preparing for everything the day might bring. Decisions stack up quickly. Responsibilities press in. Before long, we are carrying the weight of the day before it has even begun. Then, somewhere in the middle of the effort, we invite God into what we’ve already decided.

The Power of Alignment
Success is one of the most powerful words in modern culture. It carries both promise and pressure. The world defines success through visible outcomes: achievement influence recognition financial gain And while these things can create moments of satisfaction, they rarely produce lasting peace or clarity. Scripture presents something radically different. I have opened the first week of the journey in the classroom. Please feel free to take a look and discuss how you feel about it.

Palm Sunday: The Anatomy of a Fickle Crowd
They wanted a King who would fix their situation…overthrow their enemies…restore their version of order. In other words: They weren’t celebrating who He was. They were celebrating what they thought He would do. Read more
